Konnichiwa! Welcome to KonnichiWhat! I have always loved and have been passionate about languages. I completed a degree in Japanese language, literature and education in Tokyo and obtained a teaching certificate in Japanese. Since I moved to Australia, I have had amazing opportunities teaching Japanese in a language institute, a local high school and various companies. I am also a trainer of Teaching Japanese as a Second Language course and I have become a part of progress and growth of several Japanese teachers.
I established KonnichiWhat with the aim of creating a community of Japanese language learners and Japan lovers. Learning a language is fun but can be challenging. Our mission is to connect an individual to other learners who may have similar challenges and motivations. It is always great to share your journey with others!
Traveling in Japan, watching anime or just for fun…whatever your reason is, you are always welcome!

I have taught students with different levels since I became a teacher. I have especially helped many students with JLPT exam. I love Japanese novels, manga and anime. I’m excited to talk with you about your favourites if you are also a manga/anime lover.
